Warm winter hats for kids.

It was a view from our windows that led to the birth of our small knitting circle and the desire to donate cozy hats for children in need in our close-knit Charlottesville community.  Several winters ago, we saw that many of the preschoolers at the elementary school right next door were out on the playground in the dead of winter without a warm winter hat!  Knitting Together Charlottesville was quickly launched as our team of knitters worked countless hours to provide warm, hand-knit hats to those local school children in need.  As they say, the rest is history.  From there we branched out into many other projects and today we are knitting and donating cozy hats to children in need across Charlottesville and in the surrounding communities.
