Something to hug when life gets tough. Created with love by Nancy Lambert.
Inspired by techniques employed in traditional European doll making, the appearance of our comfort dolls is intentionally left simple, allowing the child playing with one of them to improve and strengthen imagination and creativity. Our comfort dolls have limited facial expression, though for us, we see a world of compassion and comfort expressed in each of those tiny faces! When life gets tough, we hope that these dolls provide something to hug for the smallest patients at UVa’s Children’s Hospital. We are proud to donate our comfort dolls to the young and the young-at-heart!
