Having a cancer survivor on our team of knitters has made us aware of the special needs of patients undergoing chemotherapy, both young and old.  Knitting Together Charlottesville is proud to donate the very softest of hats to the University of Virginia’s Emily Couric Cancer Center and to the Hematology/Oncology unit of UVa’s Children’s Hospital.  Especially for the very youngest of cancer patients, we strive to come up with the most colorful designs and the most cheerful embellishments to help bring a bit of warmth and happiness into each and every day!
