Ruth Kastenmayer learned embroidery from her mother and grandmother in the 1950’s, and she later enjoyed crewel embroidery, macrame, and counted cross-stitch.

She has spent the last 20 years weaving the web, but now is learning to knit hats on a loom as a charter member of Knitting Together.
