Our mischievous one-year-old rescued tortoiseshell Mira (an exotic name for an exotic cat) brings a lot of excitement to our weekly knitting sessions – and she definitely keeps us all on our toes!  She wants to be involved in all aspects of this project, from hand (well, actually, paw)-selecting the yarns, buttons, and other hat embellishments, to “knitting” her own unique creations, as seen below.  We fell in love with Mira at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA (https://caspca.org/), and cannot imagine life – or Knitting Together – without her!
